Leonel P. Limonte, M.D.
Chief of Neurology Department
The Bonati Insttiute’s Neurology Department evaaluates and treats patients who suffer disorders of the central and peripheral nervous system. Dr. Limonte graduated Cum Laude from the University of Miami where he obtained his B.S. degree in Chemistry. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Dr. Limonte completed fellowships in Clinical Electrophysiology and Neurologic Rehabilitation at the University of Miami School of Medicine, where he also served on the faculty as a Clinical Instructor of Neurology.
Honors awarded to Dr. Limonte include: "Emphasis on Excellence" - M.D.C.C. General Honors Program, Bowman F. Ashe Scholarship, Golden Key National Honor Society, and the Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society. The American Academy of Neurology also gave him the Excellence in Rehabilitation National Award as an annual scholarship.
